Steps

Obiectul expus reprezintă unul din multele instrumente pe care le folosesc să decontextualizez diferite momente prin care trec eu însumi.  Scot piesele că dintr-un joc și le aranjez dându-le astfel un nou înțeles.Pornesc de la piramide cum e cazul acestor piese și le recompun într un alt ansamblu care formează și nuanțează subiectul în direcția în care doresc eu. Vorbesc despre spațiu ,vorbesc despre culoare ,vorbesc despre căutare, vorbesc despre a reconstrui.Folosesc  lemn, răsini și în general resturi, materiale nepretioase. Modestia materialelor lor  mă face să fiu mai în largul meu și să mă concetrez pe jocul conceptelor. Câteodată chiar sunt surprins de ceea ce găsesc în mod aleatoriu și însăși  descoperirea lor  poate devine un start spre o nouă direcție de cercetare și creație.

The object is one of the many tools I use to decontextualize the various moments I experience. I take these pieces, like in a game, and rearrange them to give them new meaning. I begin with pyramids, similar to these pieces, and recombine them into a new whole that shapes and nuances the theme in the direction I desire. I’m exploring concepts of space, color, search, and reconstruction. I have used wood and acrylic resin—materials I often gather as scraps. While these materials are invaluable, I do not aim to direct my work towards ecological art.The modesty of these materials makes me feel more at ease, allowing me to focus on the interplay of concepts. Sometimes, I am even surprised by what I discover by chance; the very act of finding these pieces can inspire a new direction for my research and creation.
